Steps for Adding a synaptic connection. You must be logged in as an editor or administrator for this to work.
- Go to the Detail Page of a Neuron.
- Click the Edit mode box on the navigation bar.

- Inputs are synaptic inputs to the neuron being edited.
- Outputs are synaptic outputs from the neuron being edited.

- Click on this new entry.
- Select either -Pre or -Post from the pull down menu on the left side.
- Find the instance of the neuron that you wish to connect to in the pull down menu on the right.
- Click Add Relationship
The synapse has now been added. You can add an annotation to this synapse too. You can add properties to this synapse by clicking the Properties Tab.
Note that if you have used Set Refs then the synapse will already be annotated by those references.
