NeuronBank clients provide the front-end to the federation of knowledge bases. Different clients will provide different ways of querying, viewing, analyzing, and submitting knowledge. We will foster the development of specialized clients by designing the BranchKB and Meta-Server to expose a consistent set of client-neutral webservices. We are developing both a non-specialized web client and a specialized visualization client for presenting the locations of identified neurons in invertebrate ganglia. We hope to develop a complete specification of the client framework and a developer's guide to foster the development of additional clients.
